Service Building
Opened February 1, 1930 as the Roaring Twenties
came to a close, Rutland's first "skyscraper" towered over the city
with seven stories.
Advertised back then as "not 'just another office building' but a
distinctive home for discriminating business people," the description
still rings true.
The Art Deco style of architecture presents a distinctive facade along
Merchants Row, directly across from the Rutland Plaza.
